Spring Race, Middleburg, VA - 2010 April 17
Corey, Jen, and Laura invited a few of their friends to the Spring Field Race. I drove with Mike, Tony, Laura, and her friend Anette to Middleburg Va. We were a few minutes late and missed the first of seven races. The weather was windy, and in between races, some people would shelter in the cars. I had a lot of fun and look forward to my next race!

Malapascua is a tiny island, only about 2.5 kilometers long and 1 km wide. Off shore, Monad Shoal is an underwater plateau where thresher sharks and manta rays can be sighted regularly. Although, I dove the shoal the day after a typhoon and did not see any sharks or rays. The visibility was surprisingly good, and the sharks are said to swim out of the crevices in the shoal.
